Sara Möller

OCTOBER 13- NOVEMBER 4, 2018

We are please to present Annexus, Sara Möller´s second solo exhibition at the gallery. The exhibition is centered on a monumental new bronze piece in an installation, together with ceramic sculptures made during her artist in residence in Jingdezhen, China last year.

Möller’s sculptural pieces reveals a great sensitivity to the possibilities of the material. The nature of her work comes through both in her process and use of materials as well as imagery, combining abstract biomorphic forms with casted everyday objects. They evoke living forms such as plants and the human body. The sculptures unwind in an improvisational, meandering manner that implies growth and constant change, reflecting also her process of sculpting the pieces, often using both her hands and feet.

The bronze piece was made possible with the support from Konstnärsnämnden (The Swedish Arts Grants Committee).
