ANDREA DAMP – Carpe noctem

September 15 - October 7, 2018

We are please to present Carpe noctem, Andrea Damp´s fourth solo exhibition at the gallery. The exhibition include among others the latest paintings from her work cycle Déjà-vu, which are closely related to her childhood on the island of Rügen.
Damp´s work is dedicated to a subtle dialogue between narrative and abstraction. Using figurative elements, she transforms abstract compositions into narrative, associative pictorial worlds characterized by atmosphere and emotional expression.
