Ellen Lindström (b. in 1977) currently resides and works in Gothenburg. She received her education at Hovedskous Painting School between 1996 and 2001 and at Kunsthöjskolen på Ærø (DK), 1999. Lindström is primarily a sculptor, and her artwork has been exhibited in various places such as Gothenburg´s Art Association, Konstepidemin, Röda Sten Konsthall, Macro Testaccio and Museo delle Arti e Tradizioni Popolari in Rome (IT), Kunstmaand Ameland (NL) and at various galleries in several Swedish cities. Her first solo exhibition in Gothenburg took place in 2002. In 2021 Lindström got 1 year working grant from the Swedish Arts Grants Committee. In 2022, she was commissioned to create 250 sculptures for the Våga Se Art Association.

Her first solo exhibition at Galleri Thomassen is scheduled to take place in October 2024
