Galleri Thomassen is pleased to present EDDYSROOM@GALLERITHOMASSEN, an exhibition curated by American artist Austin Eddy. Austin Eddy has chosen 22 artists whose work and practice inspire and interest him deeply. The small to medium size works selected for the exhibition explore varying degrees of abstraction.

With a focus on play and an emphasis on form, color and movement through sculpture, painting, drawing, collage, and mixed media, this exhibition offers a unique experience and different perspectives on abstraction, while at the same time reminding us that the formal qualities of an abstract painting or sculpture are significant not just in themselves but also as a part of the work’s expressive message.

EDDYSROOM is a nomadic curatorial project, founded by Austin Eddy in 2015. Since its beginning EDDYSROOM had held monthly exhibitions, exhibiting a diverse selection of artists in Austin Eddy´s apartment in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
